Terms of Use

1. Who you are contracting with

StayGuide ("the Service") is operated by Abdulrehman Irfan, a sole proprietor based in the United States, trading as "StayGuide" ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

StayGuide provides hosts of short-term rental properties with tools to create and share digital guidebooks. Hosts are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content they publish.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to publish unlawful, infringing, harmful, or misleading content, or to interfere with the operation of the Service or other users.

5. Content ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant StayGuide a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the Service.

6. Payments, subscriptions and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paid plans are billed on a recurring subscription basis (monthly or annually, as selected at checkout) and renew automatically at the end of each billing period using your stored payment method until you cancel. Prices are shown in the checkout and may be subject to applicable taxes, which Paddle calculates and collects. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the customer portal at paddle.net; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain access until then.

Payment terms, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these terms, fail to pay for your subscription, or use the Service in a way that creates risk for us or other users.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StayGuide is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Abdulrehman Irfan resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
